Foundational Framework

A clarifying process to define your brand’s core identity, purpose, and strategy, laying the groundwork for all other services.

The company core

Let's strengthen what holds it all together.

The Foundational Framework is designed to clarify the core elements of your business, providing a strong foundation for every strategic decision. We work with you to define who you are, what you do, how you do it, why you do it, who you do it for, and how you do it differently.

This essential framework ensures that your brand, messaging, and overall strategy will align with your vision and resonate with your target audience. With a solid foundation in place, you’ll be able to move forward with confidence, knowing that every aspect of your business is rooted in a clear, purposeful strategy.

What it looks like:

  • Who You Are (Brand Identity): Defining your company’s mission, vision, values, and overall brand personality.

  • What You Do (Product/Service Definition): Clarifying the products or services you offer and how they solve customer problems.

  • How You Do It (Processes & Systems): Understanding how your business operates and delivers value to customers.

  • Why You Do It (Purpose & Vision): Articulating the underlying purpose and why your business exists.

  • Who You Do It For (Target Audience): Identifying your ideal customers and understanding their needs, pain points, and behaviors.

  • How You’re Different (Unique Value Proposition): Defining what makes your business unique and how you stand out in the market.

Without a solid foundation, anything you build on it will fall.

FAQ about the Foundation Framework:

How long does the Foundational Framework take?

It depends on how large your project is, but it ranges from 1-3 days.

Is The Foundational Framework in person?

If you’re local, yes! You can come to our office at 275 Market St. Suite 54 in the IMS Design Center, or we can come to you if you have a space for one of our team members.

If you aren’t local, we can do it virtually, although we often do this back-to-back with the Strategic Business Evaluation done in person.

Do I need The Foundational Framework?

You need a solid foundation, and if you have already worked with an agency or firm on defining that in the past few years, then no. If it’s been a while and it feels a bit unknown, then yes. We will determine if the Foundation Framework is required at the Strategic Business Evaluation.

What our clients say about our work.

Leanne and the team have been a tremendous help to Hands to the Plow Ministries. They work hard to understand our needs, they met (and still meet) every deadline, they kept (and still keep) us on track, clearing stating what they needed from us, and they frequently came up with great solutions to problems. If you are looking for excellent results, clear communication, and an easy-to-work-with partner, look no further.
