Davis Associates is a well-established lighting rep agency representing over 130 manufacturers, with a strong focus on decorative lighting. Known for their professionalism and forward-thinking mindset, they’re expanding to better serve interior designers and architects by launching a new digital division—one that reimagines how decorative lighting products are discovered, selected, and specified.

Their audience—primarily interior designers—is highly visual, but the current selection process is fragmented and technical. With no centralized system, no visual filtering, and each manufacturer using their own format, designers struggled to browse and compare products efficiently. The “Accents” brand concept was still taking shape, and they needed support defining both the brand identity and the platform experience from scratch.
We partnered with DAVIS to develop a sub-brand (ACCENTS) with a brand-new digital strategy from the ground up. Starting with brand messaging, naming, and voice, r while creating a modern, visually-driven platform experience. Our solution included a product filtering system, featured collections—bringing hundreds of manufacturers into a single, user-friendly interface. We also designed a manufacturer outreach system and content strategy to support scalability.
Together, we built more than just a platform—we laid the foundation for a digital experience that’s changing how design professionals engage with decorative lighting. From naming and brand positioning to a visually-driven product filtering system, we created something truly unique in the rep space.
Beyond the platform, we’ve been partnering on ongoing marketing strategy, content development, and social planning. Our team also supports their online presence with filming and content capture, as well as continuous updates to the website as new manufacturers and features are added.
ACCENTS by DAVIS now has a digital division that reflects the caliber of their brand and is positioned for long-term growth.
